One example is Seiko and Naomi's exchange before Seiko runs off and dies. Which is partly what CP is about, but it's mostly about the story and the characters, which weren't given as much attention to. The story was incredibly rushed, barely ANYTHING was explained, it just felt like gore, gore and more gore. What he said about the paper it is true, then what is the point during the end of the ep 4 ( during the transfer to another world) you see for Kizami's ID.Įhh, I'm a little disappointed, as a big fan of CP games. In the end, Ayumi was gonna survive no matter what, and either Satoshi or Naomi was guaranteed to die. (Although the effects of doing that is debatable)Īnd the sad thing was, when Satoshi noticed that Naomi had taken a scrap from another student's corpse, in the end he gave his piece of scrap to Naomi. It doesn't necessarily mean that it HAS to be your own piece from the ceremony. Re-Iterating: You need to have a piece of the "Sachiko Ever After" Charm/Paper that was (indirectly) used upon entering. Pretty much, but didn't Naomi also use someone others scrap? If so, then it must be that it needs to be a paper scrap from someone who performed the charm with you, I guess? (simply from the same school) Yea I know that but does that literally mean that you can't use any others paper scrap ? As I heard the adopting were not from the game or manga itself but what I am real happy with is that the OST is the same as the game which is EPIC.īut don't you think that the 6 out of 10 is not fair because of the adopting ? I still didn't watched it but I had seen some clubs from the show. What really bothered me is how they really didn't catch the mood from games, despite how I watched in the night. Man, for some reason, instead of going all "WTF" over the ending, I just laughed like a maniac.Īnyways, what I enjoyed is how the gore was over-the-top quality. The added scenes weren't that awesome, expect for the ending. I'm still kinda upset how they decided to kill Broshiki that way, and the Naho confrontation was also kinda lame, since there wasn't Broshiki creating impact. The Kizami Revealation scene came too fast for me (I mean c'mon, Yuka meets him and then 1-2 minutes later he's a psycho), no RUN RABBIT RUN which was sad. >Shiqe-nii went clay clay photographin' corpses by day "makin' corpses more beautiful" by night >OH of course, Yuka can't hold her bladder HAH >oman 2 episode = scenes from chapters 2, 3, 4 and 5 shuffled all the way o: Speaking of which, was it just me, or did Naomi look kinda off in the anime? The rest of the crew looked very similar to the original sprites, but I couldn’t help it but feel like Naomi didn’t. :DĪlso, did you guys notice that scene after the credits? They even animated the very beginning of BoS. As for the ending itself, I thought: "It would be funny if Naomi got left behind, since she doesn’t have her own scrap!" when they were teleporting out - and when that last scene came, I just couldn’t stop laughing. that was a bit overkill, didn’t really fit for me. Wtf did they do with the ghosts? Not only did they look really weird and bad, but they also magically spoke without tongues (I know that is a minor thing, but it was just so much creepier in the game when they couldn’t speak), and they also ran around killing people with scissors. What I didn’t like at all, though, were the ghosts. nearly, but that is ipossible after the Tooth chapter in BoS. I honestly didn’t expect Yuka to die, it nearly made me dance in joy. On one hand, I was very disappointed to not see some scenes I was looking forward to animated - but on the other hand, the original material was actually good! Considering how BoS was, they can really do whatever they want with the story - so assuming that Tortured Souls was just another universe again, it was actually a very entertaining watch. Which brings me to the OVA original scenes, I suppose. Though I had to laugh when she tried to take Sachiko with her to piss. Seriously, that was like that Yuka chapter in BoS all over again, I was dying inside while I watched it. which didn’t fail to show up either, including that ridiculousness where she tries to hide her panties. Of course, Yuka’s first sentence was "Onii-chan, toire ikitai." *facepalm* Well, I was expecting no less from CP, so I just took it as granted and waited for the scene where she’d pee herself.
